Author Topic: No More Dissapearing Bricks!  (Read 1034 times)

Can someone please make an ADD-ON that keeps bricks far away from disapearing? I'm so tired of rebuilding important peices of my RPG...

plus I have no idea how to code and stuff like that.

This is ghosting bricks. You must set the visible distance higher on the map, which would cause you to have to make your own map. You cannot make a script that allows you to always ghost all bricks at once.

Although, does the visible distance affect the ghosting distance? Correct me if this does not.

No, I'm not sure, but the ghosting distance is a little short of the max visible distance.
It's probably the same distance as when player disappear.

No, I'm not sure, but the ghosting distance is a little short of the max visible distance.

Which means that the ghosting distance is a set figure?

Saw your ninja... then the distance could be changed, or is the distance when players disappeared set, too?

I'm confuzzled, and don't really know what you guys mean :c

I go to where I built the place, there IS a pathway so I know were to go, but it's not there. There's NO WAY to fix this? You CAN'T make it all ghost at once???

If you load a build, that you cannot fully see from where you spawn, the bricks that you cannot see don't load. If you save your build that way, it gets rid of them.

You have to go around all your build and let it load. Bricks that you cant see due to being too far away, won't load till your nearer to them. Its the games way of reducing lag.

Minecraft does the same thing, except it complete generates a whole new terrain as you walk through the world. I dunno though, Minecraft still has horrible graphics.

Minecraft's supposed to have bad graphics.

and so I'm just gonna have to stand high up in the sky between the overworld and the skyland world for it both to load?

You just have to get close enough to your bricks till the 'Ghosting' bar on the bottom of the screen is gone..

But if you miss some and save, there gone...

Which is why you have a BACKUP save!

I have two backup saves of my Zombie Land, not including the main save, due to this problem. Haha :P

Save once where you can see half, and again when you can see the other half.
They'll get saved in their proper positions, so you can just load them both together.
