how do you download addons to fallout 3?

how do you download addons to fallout 3?  do you put in in a folder or what's the deal there?

In the fallout 3 directory there is a folder called "Data". That's where all add-ons go.

I recommend you use the FOMM. It's much easier and helps alot with installing and uninstalling addons.

Can you post a link to the file that you are downloading?

When you open the Fallout Mod Manager that I linked to press the Package manager button. Then find the entire zip file and it'll do everything for you.
