Oh, and I forgot.

Dreaming time chart

Layer 0 (Real Life) - Time amplification: x0 (Stays the same)
Layer 1 - - - - - - - - Time Amplification: X10 (5 Minutes IRL = 1 Hour in dream)
Layer 2 - - - - - - - - Time Amplification: x100 (5 Minutes IRL = 10 Weeks in dream)
Layer 3 - - - - - - - - Time Amplification: x1000 (5 Minutes IRL = 10 Years in dream) [REQUIRES SEDATIVE]
Limbo - - - - - - - - - Time Amplification: x10,000 (5 Minutes IRL = 100 Years in dream) [REQUIRES SEDATIVE]
Holy forget about this. Remember when the couple wake up from the "Limbo"? There's no machine! Mind=blown

Limbo is so terrifying to think of ;_;

Limbo in Inception is trippy as hell.

I've dreamed lucidly before, It was about a survival game with real guns and stuff. I was owning with the bolt action rifle.  :cookieMonster:

You also have to keep in mind the only reason you "owned" at the bolt action was because you have never actually experienced firing a bolt action rifle in real life, so all of the physics, appearance and weight are all based on what your mind has recorded from images, games and other things to it's memory. The gun you were firing was simply made up by your brain, google images and Counter Strike: Source.

Crazy stuff, huh?

Inception is a movie

Being able to be, in a sense, a "God" is already possible in Lucid Dreaming.

How 2 remember dreams

I once had a lucid dream where I was having lucid dreams. The most I remember from it was waking up twice and feeling like a lot of time had passed. Really stuff on my day.

EDIT: I also remember not being totally aware in the initial dream. Felt like something was wrong but couldn't place it until I realized my room was arranged like it was 5+ years ago rather than how it is now.

How 2 remember dreams

Keep a "dream journal" with you and try to record your dreams every time you wake up. This will better train your mind to remember the dreams, thus making becoming aware possible for you in a dream.

If you actually think about it, Limbo isn't all that bad. You can create whatever you want, Do whatever you want, and be whatever you want.

LIMBOCHAT: Agh, Man, I sure feel like destroying some buildings today.
(Three minutes later) AHAHAHAHAHA, DIE BUILDINGS!

The weirdest thing that just happened now was Deja Vu. I remember watching that video before, somewhere.

The bottom line is that Inception is a damn good movie, and lucid dreaming is generally amazing.

I want to go into limbo, so bad.  I'm going to try this, it sounds so cool.  I want to train myself to shape shift into some bad-ass robot and destroy the world, then continue, destroying other worlds.

Holy forget about this. Remember when the couple wake up from the "Limbo"? There's no machine! Mind=blown

Also, about you guys wanting to go into limbo, you're stupid. Nevermind, explained by the wonderful Menen

You'll start losing track of what is real life and what isn't. Then you'll go insane. Then when (and if) you wake up, you'll think killing yourself will bring you back to the "real world" (at least, what you now think is the real world).
