Author Topic: Mack rambles on about "Inception" and the concept of Lucid Dreaming  (Read 8233 times)

We use a minuscule amount of our brain power.
Thats a myth.

I lucid dreamed once. I looked at my hands and realized that I was in a lucid dream and freaked out because I couldn't remember what you're supposed to do to stay in the dream and then I woke up. It sucked.

I lucid dream pretty much all the time. It's awesome. I need to learn how to be totally free, because I still feel the need to do other stuff every time I'm in one.

:u Didn't know that. Thanks. But I still believe we have the capability for higher things.
And I can sometimes lucid dream on command. It's really annoying when you look in a mirror because then you see something stuffscary and wake up. D:

Ahaha, I sometimes get that. :3

Those moments where you drift off to sleep, only to wake up in seemingly two seconds and it's eight hours. Yeah, those.
Oh I hate them.

They always pick a night when you're exhausted, you go to sleep and then seconds later it's: 'GET UP BOY, IT'S TIME FOR SCHOOL'.

Yeah :/

I still feel the need to do other stuff every time I'm in one.

Its much easier to have something in mind you want to do. I've come up with ideas while in the dream, but sometimes figuring out what I want to do and how I can do it is good to get me motivated at least.

Never say something is not possible when it comes to science, in 100 years or so you will be lookin like a fool with your pants on the ground, as a corpse.

Hmm. I'll try that. I really want to see what I can do, like flying or throwing skyscrapers around and riding dragons and stuff.

for me it's the opposite
I fall asleep and it feels like an hour but I look and it's only been 10 minutes :D!

I used to try to practice lucid dreaming but about a couple years ago I just stopped dreaming, haven't dreamed in years actually. My problem was like "Ok I am in my dream OH CRAP DON'T WAKE UP" then I would be awake.

I want to learn how to fly in a lucid dream. :cookieMonster:

I once had a lucid dream that lasted about a day or so for me. I think that was the one where I went into the 2nd layer.

Hell yes.  :cookieMonster:

It usually takes me a while to figure out I'm in a dream, sometimes I can control the dream but others any attempt to control what I/others do causes me to wake up. Ive even been able to move my body body while dreaming, feeling my body move under the blankets but not wake up. It was a strange sensation.

Ironically, I have an unfathomably advanced imagination; yet my sessions of REM sleep yield nothing but a time skip. Ever had one of those?

I've done that, I felt like I was just blinking, but 4 hours passed between one blink :D

Come to think of it.

I think I had a 1 year long lucid dream while having surgery. :cookieMonster:
