So far it's Counter Strike 1.6 and below.

Nothing matches it in fast-paced action, maps and modding.

I'm not a bandwagoner, I've had first-hand experience with most of the CoD games and can honestly say that every one after 4 was just a marketing ploy.

Yep.  That's why so many people buy them and constantly play them.  Protip: It's not fun to play a bad game, if CoD were bad, no one would play it.

That's completely untrue. A bad game doesn't mean it's not fun. I had lots of fun with CoD6, but it's not worth the money and anyone that buys it is a massive tool.

This January it surpassed 1 billion dollars in sales.

Seems like a lot of people in this world are tools.
