Author Topic: Upgrading a Laptop's Video Card  (Read 1109 times)

Is it possible?

if so, how?

p.s: I want to upgrade a HP Compaq tc4200

Depends. Never changed parts on a laptop, only desktops.

Unless you bought a $1000 gaming laptop, you won't be able to.

The TC4200 isn't an expensive gaming laptop, so no.

Nope, it's integrated bro.

I've changed the integrated graphics on a laptop.

Required a lot of soldering.

Then I build a gaming laptop which had a standard GPU in it.

Feel good man :)

you have no idea how many people would pay half the price of a gaming laptop to upgrade their old one

Bullstuff.

Nope.

Went from an ATI Radeon 3 series, and then upgraded the heat tubes to copper tubes as well as the GPU to an ATI Radeon 4series mobile processor.
