Author Topic: a country that begins with U  (Read 8102 times)

Not EVERY video that is degrading to us is true, you know.

Alright, even if it were true, that is a few people out of 310,000,000 people. Sure there are a few thousand more like that, but most of the time you don't see an American who doesn't know what country they live in.
I bet they asked like 30000 people and just showed the few dumb ones.

It really depends. Depends on situation, peoples, self, ambience and bla bla bla bla.

Take me as an example. Nothing can discompose (the word I'm looking for?) me. I'm as cool as a cucumber in every situation. I almost have zero shame.
But even though, I think that a big ass lens in my face would probably confuse me for a moment..
It probably wouldn't make you think Australia is North Korea, though.

well of course they only show the dumb ones lol.

if they showed the 100 smart people to every dumb one, it wouldn't be entertaining.
news is just a show looking for ratings and shock content like any other.

i love the fake map

They show the dumb ones because people like me didn't actually believe someone could be that dumb, not because everyone in America is that dumb.

I can believe this. It's actually a stereotype in itself to believe that everybody that isn't american hates america.

American democracy is a mess because it's filled with people who don't care or don't know anything about their own government system. This is why it's filled with monipulative politicians.
Now what can cause this problem.
Too much Freedom? Boredom? Education system? Lazyness?
Believe it or not but some steriotypes here carry  a heavy load of truth.

What can cause people not to lean toward education? Loss of self? This is why people are so religious.
Plato said "The most noble thing a Man can ever do is to conquer himself."
All of these people carry a heavy load of potential of becoming wise and educated, but why aren't they?

It's simple as why do some people chose to ignore a crime; they're either afraid of it or don't want to get entangled in the situation.

Gaining knowledge is trouble because it's hard and takes time.

Anyone else notice this was posted four years ago?

Since I really have nothing to add, I'll emptyquote.

Also, man do I love watching CNNNN.

They surely show the wrong ones, and kept hiding the smart ones.
loving england, those bitches stole our argentinian islands.

Well the topic was " Dem Emaricunts shure ar stupid, doc."

Otherwise it would be called "The average American" or something along the lines.

England is full of bitches wanting to be the best.

When they said name a country that started with U I didn't think USA for like 5 minutes ): But I did think Uganda instantly so at least I wouldn't have looked too stupid.

My first thought was Uruguay, followed by Uganda, Ukraine and the US (and later the UK).

Only one I got wrong was the "Axis of Evil" one. I guessed national socialist Germany, Fascist Italy, and Imperial Japan, but I guess that's the wrong "Axis," as a quick search points that it is Iran, Iraq, and North Korea. ._.

I thought the Axis of Evil was the super group that fought against the Justice League.

I wonder what country the guy that made the subtitles is from. He couldn't spell half the words. Would be ironic if he was from a different country, and sad if he was from the US.
