I like them all except the Sarah. I think its firerate shouldn't be so slow :L.

Well, the Sarah does 30 direct damage and has a spread of 0.00025 / 0.0050, so, if it were any faster, would it be overpowered?

But, test the weapon with some other people in a dm or whatever, and  keep the faster fire rate idea in mind if you see that it seems to slow to even think about using it in a fight. Then come back to me with that proposal.

May i test for you?

Well, I already have 10 people in the list, however, if any of the current testers prove to be quite tardy or give no reports or testing results, see me about replacing him with you.

First thoughts:

Eva: A pretty decent rifle, can mow down targets rather easily and in comparison to it's armament caliber it's a good addition.

Heavy Pistol [A]: The fact it uses Little Rifle ammo does set it apart from other pistol weapons (which use the 10x18) but a nice little pistol, probably be useful to those that want the extra power or are using Battle Rifles.

Motor-Mouth: It's.... it's BEAUTIFUL.... Decent spread for how shooty it is, and a decent clip size that's a good balance between bullet amount (like the LMG) and damage (Motor). My only quam is there's no real downside on this weapon...

Sarah: I... can't really tell what this is supposed to be emulating. It takes a full clip to kill a target, yet does not have a headshot damage and fires slowe then the rest. I would suggest vamping it to a sniper with Headshot scripts or increasing the firerate for a weakish Battle Rifle.

Final thoughts: Sure is a lotta Heavy Rifle slugs used, but considering the power of these weapons (sans Sarah's major problems) I can't see that much a problem. I've tested in single-player zombie mod doing this report, but I'll host tomorrow or something with these added to the weapon buy-in for free, see if people think of them for thoughts.

Well, I could try a T+T rifle style for the Sarah. And try to remove the "going through bricks" feature. OR, an alt fire mode, for changing between accuracy and damage, to firerate.

And Motor-Mouth, should it be a wider spread when you move and/or just a wide spread no matter what?

Is the gravity more then T+T? Because it feels like it to me.



I didn't notice the brick entry on Sarah, considering I was testing on a open test area before using a map-interior area for my testing ^^; Aditionally, testing both in and out of minigame revealed no bullet pen through a wall of 1x4x1 bricks, quite literally at reading your post.
That would be a nice feature though, as would trading between a 'Sniper' mode and a 'rapid fire' mode would add to it's uniqeness.

As for MM, it's got a pretty high spread as is, much higher then the LMG, meaning it's pretty much worse then (high spread) shotguns on long distance. Still, interiors it'd be a beast. It's got enough faults to keep it 'sane', though if anything my suggestion would either be a speed decrease on the player whilest firing or a tiny reduction of refire. Then again this is just my opinions, others may have other ideas.

If I'm correct, there shouldn't be any entry for the Sarah.

You could move the firing speed of the Sarah up a little.

So far I've only tested this in single player against zombies:

Eva:

A pretty nice gun, I found it handy when in tight situations. It feels slightly weak to me, though. I suggest either raising the damage slightly, or decreasing the spread amount. Fire rate is good. Model is very good, with a neat design. The sound is good, though it makes the gun sound more powerful then it actually is.

Heavy Pistol [A]:

I really like this weapon. The damage and rate-of-fire seem balanced, and the slight amount of spread keeps it from being a sniper-like weapon. Model and sounds are good.

Motor-Mouth:

I find this to be a strange weapon, though it's my favorite of the pack. :P
Seems quite balanced. The model is very good. The fire sound is good, though it seems to me a deeper sound would fit this weapon better. Maybe switch the Eva and Motor-Mouth sounds?

Sarah:

Seems to be bugged. You said it does 30 damage, but it takes more then a full clip to kill a standard player.
The sound is good. I really like the model, it's probably my favorite of the pack.



In other words: Really great pack so far! Models especially.

I tested the sarah and I dont know if it only happened to me. But when I picked it up I had -30 ammo.


Also you should add a limit to how much ammo can have.
But I really like this pack.

Ugh, I want to try this pack so bad, but I can't because Mediafire is denying access (through the server itself) when I try to download it!
