Wait, what? What are you talking about? How can you say that?Oh, thats why.Just saying, if you play the game/demo on Windows XP or just DirectX 9, the game will not allow you to choose settings higher than "medium". It requires DirectX 10 to go any higher up, and DirectX 11 (with a DX11-working GPU) in order to go to the highest with tessellation (which looks REALLY awesome on the terrain). The game itself is very fun, I love it and can't stop playing. My only irk is that the game is subject to many crashes and I am 100% suspecting its the game's coding having some incompatibility with my hardware.
My only problem with it is that my girlfriend has Civ 4 so when I try playing that again I just cant get over how much more I like Civ 5.
I miss religions from Civ4 though.Nothing else made Civ4 more fun when you are the first to discover both Christianity and Islam.
I also have civi5 and I also like it.Very fun, need someone else to play with though, as everyone on my friends list is either not on or something. On that note, is multiplayer more fun? Because I seem never to find any servers that the host isn't afk.
This is true, but I am kinda glad it is gone because it caused other civs to declare war on me for bullstuff reasons.
Almost finished my first game.2003 AD and I own nearly all of South America, only other civilization is a City-State that I basically have on a leash. I love this game, but like you said, I miss founding a religion. :/But anyways. :D
I built three giant death machines and went crazy. One of them can solo against a level 15 city and a medium army.
Oasis, do i have you on steam?
Downloading demo.
