Author Topic: What guns do you own? (Or you've been given)  (Read 6471 times)

Is nobody else hideously concerned that on a forum filled with children who are too immature to hold a respectable conversion, there is an engaging discussion about people sharing their firearms?

What. The. loving hell. Think you are a man because you have a dangerous weapon?

Not at all, I think I'm a man because I know how to properly use it without killing anybody I don't need to, thank you for stereotyping me though

So, Yuki, since you're the gun expert here, I wanna ask you about your opinion of the Five Seven. Good? Bad? Decent? General statistics, other than the stuff you can read off of Wikipedia?
Expensive, and some smaller ranges might not let you use it because 5.7mm is hugely piercing, and nobbles their backstops. But none the less, still a funky piece of kit.

I don't actually own anything in one piece, the 9x35mm automatic carbine I spent two weeks building had a failure of the rear trunion and the bolt was ejected a fair 20 feet in a shower of aluminum trunion chunks, right into my neighbor's pond.

In England we don't let civilians own guns.

Derp, I'm living in Oxfordshire, and don't be silly, they're just not advertised. See above post of mine.

Good thing guns aren't that common here among civilians. Cool people use knives and axes to kill each other!(And I don't have even those. :c )

and

for show, but the bolts taken out and we have no bullets.

Herp, I'm so cool because I own an instrument of death I could easily or accidentally kill my friends with.

yes, because guns kill people. Just like your pencil causes spelling errors. You can only "accidentally" kill your friends if your absolutely handicapped. If you treat the weapon with respect and shoot it in a safe and approved environment following proper gun safety rules then nothing will go wrong.

As for guns I own I currently own one firearm. A Mauser 48

I own almost everything here. Except my bayonet is a different style (might not be original to the gun, I'm not entirely sure). Other than that I own everything in this picture

Other than this I own a couple paintball markers, that's it.

Unless you regularly go hunting I fail to see your point.

Yeah our youth just use knives in England instead.  :cookieMonster:

I think I am a man because I have a snake.

Living in England. We're so hardcore here, our government made guns illegal just to make the more manly act of knife crime more accessible.

For englishe folks, building a 9mm SMG is easier. The designs P.A Luty made can be expanded upon to an extent. Hence, my 9x35 Kestrel Carbine.

For English folk, why would we need a 9mm SMG?

It's not like I'm going to either;

A) Have my country invaded by a foreign country and have to start up a local militia
B) Defend myself from gun-toting muggers in the SouthWestern Sea Side.

My father has a stuff ton of guns in his personal armory :D

I held a AKSU, Tokarev, a Dragunov and a Tear-gas nade launcher.

England's a police state, two rozzers turned up with glocks to tell us to turn the music down at a party I went to three weeks back.
