Which Iron Cobra beaters to get?

I just got some Iron Cobra pedals last week, but I didn't get the beaters because they weren't included and I thought i could just use my old ones. My old wons are really clunky and old and heavy on the pedals and I'm pretty sure it's slowing down my playing.

So, for all you drummers out there, which beaters should I get for my Iron Cobras? The options are wood, rubber, or felt.

I'm playing on a regular bass drum head, I'm not playing on a practice kit with a rubber pad or something. If that helps.

I didn't know they could think.

I'd either go with felt or rubber.


I had bad experiences with the wood ones, eventually the moisture in your room will cause it to sound odd.

I think i'll go with felt, because the ones I have now are felt they're just really think and heavy like i said. Thanks for the input. Any further suggestions still welcome.
