Author Topic: People that shrug off obesity because of their "Metabolism"  (Read 4947 times)

I have a really fast metabolism :U.

I don't care about getting fat. I will eventually, But there is no reason right now.

I don't eat dinner at all. And I only eat a sandwich at lunch.

Yet my BMI is 29 :C
Don't listen to them haters

Well thank you for the self-esteem boost right there

Well you're not eating healthy so whatever foods you do eat your body is more prone to use everything from it, making you extremely hungry without knowing it, and making you gain wait by eating less.

Don't listen to them haters

I don't listen to them.

I kill them. Dead. Kaput.

you there. Stop making sense.

you there. Stop making sense.

Actually, that does make sense. If your body can take more calories from something, and do that more often it disregards fats.

I've got a moderate metabolism. Ever since I quit Tae Kwon Do, though, I've been getting kinda lazy... Besides that, the lawn's dead, and it's too cold to ride my bike or play tennis or swim.

Maybe when it get's warmer I can take off those extra pounds from winter...

I blame my thinness on my metabolism.  :cookieMonster:

I have a very low metabolism. I can feel my ribs and I have a weight of 75 lbs, which is rather low for a 12 year old.

I don't eat dinner at all. And I only eat a sandwich at lunch.

That's because not eating doesn't make you lose weight.

I've never understood why people think it's a good idea to stay thin or in shape by not eating at all.
Especially when, if you have a proper meal, a balanced meal, fats and sugars are quite low.

You end up missing out on the protiens and carbohydrates and all those fancy vitamins.

I know people who actively skip breakfasts or don't eat lunches or even dinner, but instead, snack on fatty sugary chocolate foods instead.
And then they wonder why they may have tummy flab, when they end up eating more fat and sugar than protien.

I have a normal metabolism.
I'm not either too fat, or too skinny.
:)

and people shrug off taking care of themselves because cancer/diabetes/heart disease is JUST "in the family" lol

its the same stuff. people want to believe in bad luck, its easier then taking action and preventing things.
