Looks like a cool mod. I was intrested in making something like this, but I am lazy. So its nice to see I am not the only one who was thinking of it.

Yea, I started this months ago, and decided to try to get it working before I move.
Also, there were other ver. of this, but the best had to been truce's.

We should get rid of walking, since you can do that in other games.

We should get rid of jumping, since you can do that in other games.
Hell, other games let you play. Let's make this a game that can't be played by anybody.

All of those things are basic elements of real life, and have been a part of games for a long time. Without those things, games would probably be crap. This isn't a basic element taken from real life. This hasn't been an important part of games for a long time. Without this, blockland wouldn't be crap. This is a direct rip off of minecraft with nothing new so far added to make it unique to blockland, except crappier lighting and collision (torque's fault). This is something that would only flood the server list.

so, if one game comes out with something, nobody else can make something like it?
Sure, it uses minecraft's textures and the same concept but if he were to use different textures and alter the concept, would it still be hateworthy or simply inspired by something else?

Also for OP I could make some nice Minecraft-esque textures if you'd like, just let me know.

If I were to use different textures, it would just basicly be adding nothing accept a ghost brick that goes where you look.
I will add other textures and bricks that minecraft didn't have, and also have it so other people could make simple add ons to it.
For example custom lamps modled in blender or what ever you use.

we allready got "dont try to get other games into blockland" why cant we say that to stuffcraft? i mean, if you need the full stuffty effect of minecraft, go play it.

Then go get rid of all the weapons, there's much games like Call Of Duty Bro ops that has weapons
Then go get rid of the jump feature, there's much Mario games that has that.
Then go get rid of the speed playertype add-ons, sonic already has that.
Then go get rid of the maps, many games have maps like half life, cod, mario, metal gear, and all that.
Then go get rid of the player, many games have a player
Then go get rid of the music, many games have music

AND GO GET RID OF
vehicles; many games have vehicles
blocks: many games have blocks
colors: EVERY game has colors, including black and white
servers: alot of games have servers
decals: many games have decals
forums: many games have a forum in the web

Im not gonna make an exact replica, cause I wont make the ai's, weapons, basicle not the survival mode,  also I am planning to release it soon, because it is bout done accept for a couple of bugs.

I could make it work with a normal cube, will its about done auctually, just gonna make a way to prevent building inside another cube.
