1- You cant breath in radiation (Unless you are breathing in radiated dust/particles)

2- America is stupid as forget to believe that they are more worried of radiation hitting the US over Japan

3- Even IF the nuclear reactors in Japan becomes another Chernobyl (I.E. loving handicaps doing stupid stuff they shouldn't be doing and poorly designed reactors) and a cloud of radiation does happen, it will NOT reach America, at most it will BARELY reach China and even if the jet-streams push the particles (Like it did in Chernobyl) we will have such a barely noticeable amount of radiation, its like if you sat through a plane trip.

Seriously... Take off your lead underwear and helmet already and hope for the best.

Incase you didnt know, radiation from Chernobyl reached EVERY 48 STATES (Idk about Hawaii and Alaska, couldnt find info on it) of the U.S. So even if you live on the most southern east part of the US (Like me in Miami Florida) you are going to get radiation

Keep in mind that Chernobyl reached a total meltdown where basically all of the fuel was open to the environment, and Japan hasn't even melted down yet.

Japans SPENT FUEL STORAGE (Reactor and storage are 2 compleatly diffrent places btw) caught on fire and it was exposed to the elements. Unlike Chernobyle, Japan contained the fire in less then 4-6 hours (Idk how long exactly, educated guess, correct me if im wrong) but Chernobyle was burning for DAYS non-stop and even then people died meaningless-ly because nobody told them they were in deadly radiation.
