Don't you hate the "oldest child" philosophy?

I hate this piece of stuff. The oldest child philosophy is that:

The oldest child is always guilty
The oldest child deserves harder punishments
The oldest child is only scolded when they do bad, not rewarded for good.

Most parents subconsciously follow this. It is so annoying to be the oldest of all of my siblings. Also, there is a youngest child philosophy that is exactly opposite this.

My parents don't follow this, they more think I'm always guilty because my twin always cries, he hursts his leg on the corner of the couch or something sometimes, and then I get in trouble for hitting him without even getting to say what happened

Huh, it's the exact opposite with my family. I have one younger sister, and she's always the one getting yelled at and grounded.
Likewise, I never get scolded and am always secretly acknowledged as the better child!

I'm the middle child on my dad's side, and I don't get in trouble because I'm not a dumbass like my two younger siblings. I stay away from them when they're doing stupid things, and whenever my step mom tells me why they got hurt, I say I wasn't there.

I am the oldest of 3 siblings (1 Bro, 2 sis) and I get the same punishment as my siblings but varying degrees. Obviously a more severe action deserves a more severe punishment but I know what im doing and alot of times I dont get in trouble at all. Sometimes my brother finds it unfair that I can stay up late and he cant even though he fails to see that I am in college in my own room :P

I believe that age only shows the time of life you have had on earth to learn and build yourself. I donnot think that age determines maturity, intelligence, or strength.

little sisters are annoying, but they don't always be a complete pain in the ass like little brothers.
