Call of Duty - The thing that ruined the FPS genre as we know it.

I asked a few of my former classmates a few weeks back at an event if they were gonna get Crysis 2 for whatever system.  I said the first letter of "Crysis", C, and already they probably were thinking of CoD.  Then I said "rysis 2", and they looked at me confused asking, "what's that? Some new console?"

Then I left the party and went home.

I hate people who complain about these things.
While you guys run around in the middle of the map without cover, I'm moving around the
outside of the map, racking up kills behind cover. While you call me a "try hard" or "hard scoper" or "sprayer"
I have 20 more kills than you and crying about it over a mic doesn't change the score board. Adapt to the way other people play and come up with a way of playing that works for you. Otherwise you're a melodramatic friend that needs excuses for losing.

I took a long break for Black Ops and today just started playing again. Then I relized something, the same old stuff goes on every Call of Duty franchise. It isnt the game it's the loving handicapped community. The community ruins every single title. Heres a list of how:

Hackers- There so bad at the game they have to hack just to be good. These morons are annoying and play unfairly. I really am tired of seeing aimbot. agreeing with this one. play fairly or don't play at all

Noobtubers- The grenade launcher, the ultimate weapon for noobs. The thing is so annoying and idiots who use it think there awesome. Trust me talk to the kids at my school. flak jacket, bro

Campers-  The classic, camping in the corner with a shotgun. They end up getting high killstreaks they don't deserve. Then when your sniping you get acused of it. cook grenade = camper go boom

Dropshotters- Most annoying poeple when sniping. Dolphin dive was supposed to prevent them but it didnt. I dropshot 75% of my kills. if you're not aiming low to begin with you deserved to die in the first place!

Plain ol morons- Use the most annoying weapons, half are 8 year olds thinking there cool. probably your worst point. I was playing MW2 with a friend using a famas (3 round burst but instakill if all three hit) and killing him so he told me I was cheap. I switch to a sniper and do fairly poor, but still beat him in the end. I don't complain but then I feel like using a shotgun. apparently then I'm too cheap because the spas has some serious range if you know how to use it. then he tells me I "rely on grenades" when I threw roughly 2 at him during a match up to 20 kills and he claims we shouldn't use grenades to make it fair.

Does anybody agree on me with any of this stuff? Now we move on to the weapons and killstreaks that stay in every game.

Last Stand- Possibly th worst perk and is so cheap. Then you get no credit when somebody else kills them in last stand.  last stand/second chance has saved my ass so many times, I'm a beast firing fast and accurate with a pistol. in black ops they fixed it so whoever downs the person gets the kill regardless of who finished them off.

Grenade Launcher- No. flak jacket again - you already mentioned this

I tried the Crysis 2 multiplayer demo .. I was delightfully surprised when sniping actually worked and didn't suck

it's a shame the rest of it was boring though.

Sniping?  In the Crysis 2 demo?  As if.  Never even unlocked the "sniper" default class or the sniper weapon.  I don't even want to try sniping in a 6v6 game, only Pier 17 had any sniping use though.

Homefront has such easy sniping.  You don't even have to make headshots to kill in one shot with a sniper.

you don't like it? the default sniper fires fast enough to kill people if you don't hit their head the first time, and there's no handicapped hold your breath thing like in CoD. it is terrible for close quarters however, and not really suitable for most maps..

I like games like this. Did they get around to fixing the multiplayer issues? I've heard that some people just freeze up or can't connect. I was thinking about buying it but this was bothering me.

Grenade launchers were meant to be in the game. If you cry over them, use them yourself.

Who would run in a room without looking through it's windows to SPOT the camper with a shotgun in the corner, first? Throw grenade, get rid of problem.

Dropshotters, your aim sucks. Idk about you, but I can kill them just fine. Simply aim down. You need good reaction speed.

Also, there are these things called perks that help you with certain occasions. Try 'em out.
