I thought it was a sister.

The princess is the protagonist's sister AND a princess. And the protagonist is a ninja.

Take a look at Rodland and Mystery Quest, they both look kind of like what you're saying.

Not any of those :C

Guys, the chars aren't chibi, they just look disproportionated to the environment. :C editto : actually screw this. they were fine. normal.

Also : The graphics were pretty good actually, especially the background and the title screen. They looked fantastic.

Yes.

Are you sure it's NES? I actually checked every single NES game ever made while burning a DVD for fun and none of them match this description. None even close.

i think its not for nes
but i played this game
wait i think i still have it
lemme search for it

I'm not 100 percent sure it was a NES game, because I had a bootlegged console.

Bootlegged as in it could play sega genesis games and such. But I can't remember a lot :C

You'd have to have no idea about the game to not know the console it's from, especially when the NES, SNES, and genesis all look completely different graphics-wise.

I played the game back in 2000. How am I even supposed to remember stuff properly when I'm 3? :C
