I really love this movie. And the fact that most of it is in black and white doesn't even bother me, which it usually does.
Anyway, for those of you who don't know the story, it's about a German national socialist named Oskar Schindler. He runs a factory around the beginning of the holocaust. The Jews love him because he hires Jews to work in his factory, which saves them from imprisonment in ghettos and labor camps (and of course eventually, death camps). Anyway, the story provides good insight on what happened to the Jews during this ordeal, and how this man Schindler was revered for just doing business. He convinces himself he's just doing it for business, so he has someone to work in his factory and keep him rich, but he's really saving thousands and thousands of people from torture and eventually death. The role of Schindler is played by...this guy is awesome...Liam Neeson.
Watch the movie to get more details, it's absolutely incredible. I'll warn you youngsters out there, there's a considerable amount of nudity, gore, and swearing. But I don't think that's an issue. Also, it's roughly 3 hours long, so you know, but it's really not boring at all. Quite exciting.
So now, discuss the movie if you've seen it, I guess. <3 this movie.
