ok, what's GPU? Graphics Processing Unit?
Yes.

Definitely GPU. Have it repaired.
where

i live in a small town with a wal-mart and the nearest good anything is 1½ hours away

edit:

I also realised I can't find any website that sells GeForce 9800GT GPUs.

Despite that it's on the nViDIA side, even that doesn't have it.

edit2:

My dad says it isn't under warranty anymore and I'm not sure how to confirm this.

He also doesn't seem to care in the slightest that it's messed up.

Oh God it's getting worse.

Images display incorrectly on webpages occasionally D:

Did you build the computer or buy it from somewhere?

You can run a magnet along the back panel of your screen when it's off.

:o

I think that'll fix it... or it'll forget it up some more, don't remember.

I think that's to forget it up.

But I'm not an expert.

Once, on another game, I made a weapon, and when you fired it the whole screen turned green and you had to reboot.

um, okay.. what game and how

Idunno, I'm pretty sure I read something about that before. If you use a magnet on the back of a screen it'll do something.

Then again...

Did you build the computer or buy it from somewhere?
I customized it and ordered it from Dell.

edit:

If I have to buy new cards, since I use SLI, do I have to buy two new cards or can I just buy one to replace the bad one? Will I have to get a new motherboard for them? please tell me more about replacing GPUs

you can get 1 to replace it, it just has to be the exact same card.

For instance, you can't SLI a 450 and a 550.

At least I know you can't mix/match with ATi

...Woopee.

They don't sell GeForce 9800GT cards anymore for whatever reason.

I meant on the nVidia website. Anyways I think I found one, I'll look at those.

Amazon.

Newegg normally is better, I've heard. :I

edit:

wrong kind on amazon

I think I may need to buy two since both are reporting problems.

Wait, what am I doing. I need to replace both, why not upgrade? lol
