I can see some legitimacy of the moon landing being a fake. Just saying.

It is a possibility, yes. But the only reason I'd ever believe that is because there's no way that so long ago they had the technology to stream pretty decent quality video from the moon to NASA.

What bugs me is the lack of stars.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Isn't the flag also waving as if there was wind, in space?

Yeah, but I can imagine the ripples being from actually planting the flag, not from "space wind" or whatever.

This is true.

There's no castle or anything in that picture. All I can see is the lunar lander, some pole they use or something, aldrin, and the flag. No structure or whatever.

There's no stars because that's how photography works, and the flag is "waving" because it was made solid to look like it's rippling.

That wouldn't explain the lack of stars :x. Also, it was made solid as in the flag itself was a solid object? not made of cloth?

Three Astronauts died in training to go to the moon, the very first ones planned to go.

They were incinerated inside a tiny capsule when a wire cough fire on pure oxygen.

The cameras were not able to pick up on the dim lights of the stars due to light concentration, and the bright Lunar surface focus of the old camera.

The day side of the moon is probably quite bright, and regular rapid lense closing photography typically doesn't pick up stars even in 2011 at night. And yes, the flag was a solid object or at least held up by a metal rod or something (it would droop otherwise)
