Hey, I know what it's like to be the youngest, though not with quite that much distance. My sister's only 3 years older than me at the moment. It'll be only two years when I turn 12 :D

I'd say it's venting, you're not specifically asking for others to be sympathetic, more like telling them what's going on and such. There's a difference between the two that's, sadly, easily ignored.
I haven't had friends since I was like 8-12 maybe.
I haven't had friends since I started homeschooling in 5th grade, and so this is pretty much my main link to the outside world. I just can't exactly imagine having no friends for that long :o
They moved away, weren't too good of friends to begin with.
Most of my friends moved ;-;
