Author Topic: "Holy stuff!" Moments.  (Read 585 times)

So this morning my dad came out of the bedroom saying:

"Holy stuff! Holy stuff! Our company is going to be bought by the IBM - (International Business Machines)

Mom says:

"Whoa."

And I say in my head:

"Holy pissflaps!" Then, I say out loud: "The IBM? You gots to be kidding."

My dad isn't a liar and he works at a business where they make these servers and programs and stuff for computers. So that's how I know this is true. This is very awesome, because my dad could have awesome benefits from this, and could spend more time with his family instead of working 90 hours a week. This is just so loving shocking I can't describe anymore.

90 hours a week? no way. noooo way.

That's 18 hour days if he has a 5 day work week like the rest of the world. Even if he has a 6 day work week that's 15 hours a day.

Sucks, bro.

I thought this kind of thing was bad?
Or am I thinking of something else?

My dad said he is gonna get me a 3ds for my birthday present. But its going to be 1 day late due to release date.
He also said he was gonna turn in my ds lite.
3 days later. I said Wait a minute. Why don't you keep the ds lite for my brother? And he says: Good idea.
Now i don't have to fight with my brother playing normal ds games.

I know. But he doesn't work on the weekends. So he works overnight in the week. and takes like 2-3 hour sleeps.

Yeah.

So it's good that the boss(es) are actually letting him take breaks on the weekend.

But sometimes he works out of will.
