Author Topic: I broke my phone  (Read 2036 times)

I dropped my HD2 into a shopping cart the other day. Yeah...

I'm not eligible for an upgrade, but since I'm extremely grandfathered with T-Mobile (14 years), I was able to pull some strings and get an HD7 for $200.

I've had Windows Phone 7 on my HD2 for a couple of months and completely fell in love with the OS. I never felt the urge to return to Android... not to mention I never had a particular Android ROM on my phone for more than three days.

Anyway, it should be here in a week. Feelsgoodman.xap.

Also, I realize how stuffty that photo is. I didn't take it.

K
We aren't supposed to discuss so ok.
Sounds nice.

Sucks man.

Windows phone 7 is nice OS tho.

Very much so. You really can't understand how smooth and nifty it really is until you try it yourself. I know it's new, but it's extremely promising. My main problem with Android lately is how it's almost too open source. OS fragmentation is a huge turnoff for me.

I have windows mobile 6.1 and I love it, I can only imagine what 7 is like.

Yeah, I'm currently dual-booting windows phone 7 and android.

You must also have an HD2. :P

Is it one of those table phones?  You know, the ones that are way too big to put in your pocket?

They're both the same size with a 4.3" screen. After using the HD2 for a year, I wouldn't want my phone to be any smaller. It's definitely not too big.

How did dropping it in a shopping cart cause THAT MUCH loving DAMAGE?!
Seriously, the screen is half shattered.

It hit the cage underneath the basket where the bars are bigger with more space in between them. It takes very little force on the side of a screen like this to break it.

I feel like I'm one of the only people left with just a regular cellphone

The Windows OS on phones seems so much better then Android. God I wish I could switch.

So is the unit around the size of an iPhone?  I really like that size.
