yes and somebody out there misninterpreted how long that takes.
They didn't misinterpret it... that's just how it works... in the time it takes for the earth to orbit the sun, there is time for just over 365 rotations of the earth on its axis. No one misinterpreted anything. Its just the way it works. Its not that hard to understand, especially if you're 25. Happy birthday c:
Edit: I mean sure, we could have made every day a few seconds/minutes longer so there were an even number of days in the year, but then every day the time we're saying it is would get a little farther from the actual time, and eventually when we're saying it's noon it would be the middle of the night. See what i mean?
