You know there's this tune that's from a television commercial and has gotten really popular in Japan since the earth quake. It's called あいさつの魔法 (Greetings of Magic), but they usually just refer to it as ポポポーン (Poh Poh Poh Pong). I have a number of friends whose electricity is still out, some are rationing groceries because everyone is freaking out there will be a shortage, and radiation is threatening to spread in deadly levels across the entire country.

I actually find it oddly comforting, and can understand why it's thought to cheer people up who've been miserable since the quake. まほ～
