Looks a bit underpowered for your PC. If you can spend more on a GPU, do so.

And while you're at it, you might want to get a new PSU.

I also need a new PSU. Suggestions?

My sister has almost the exact same computer as you.

Extend your budget if you can.

i recommend nvidia for graphics cards. You can get a decent one for under $100.

First of all, don't go looking for graphics cards on Amazon. Newegg, bro. Newegg.

Second, Nvidia if you can afford it :o

Radeon HD 4550 if you play source games.

Only good card I know of that is well under 100 dollars.

I am running on a extremely old computer and I have a 450w PSU, I bought it recently, my old 500w loving blew up, no collateral damage I do believe, except some.. scars on my leg.. Whatever that's not the point here.

if you plan on spending more than 100 on a gpu, you'll more than likely need a PCI-e plug from your psu, which I doubt it has.

Yes. Short for Enrique.

ON-TOPIC:
I don't want an Nvidia graphics card (no DirectX 11 yet)
I just want to be able to play Battlefield 3 (when it comes out)

I don't know why this is needed. Explain.

nVidida is amazing though. I would seriously recommend nvidia
