Author Topic: Planning on Getting a Steam Game  (Read 1221 times)

So I can get out of my limited user status, and mostly so I can play with my friends. I want to get Garry's mod since most other games I see on steam are FPS games, which I'm not very fond of, so I'm not going to be buying one. I like sandbox games and racing games, pretty much it, and I will refuse to buy an FPS.

TF2. Garry's Mod isn't fun at all.

tf2 wouldnt be a bad one, but you are better off getting orange box then.

garrys mod no, you wouldnt enjoy it till you already own like at least 3 other games.

Says the one who doesn't own CS:S.

I enjoyed it with just like CS:S. :panda:

And I have had Portal since that free Portal event for Mac, so that adds some fun... I haven't tested yet.

If you get Gmod, get CS:S too because lots of things and maps use the textures and stuff.

Either TF2 or CSS + TF2 + Gmod.

Then again there's also a giant library in the Store, plenty of games to choose from.

Sandbox?  SimCity 4 deluxe.  Very fun.

Racing?  Trackmania Forever is free, United is priced.  Test Drive Unlimited 2 is very fun too (and online).

Remember to download lots of ragdolls and make the most hilarious scenes ever.

Exactly my thoughts ;)

I've played Trackmania, and I got bored with it REALLY quickly. Test Drive Unlimited 2 sounds fun too.

I could try SimCity, that kinda does sound fun as well.

Ah, great. Too bad I couldn't join you, but remember to have fun. If at first your first carousel car doesn't succeed, try try again.

I don't know any sandbox games on Steam. I would suggest The Powder Toy. It's a sandbox game, but it's free and not on Steam. I would suggest Altitude, too. It's on Steam, but it's not a sandbox/racing game. asjdjf wat do

I've played altitude, and it sucks.

Couldn't get comfortable with it I guess.
