Heres what I would do, get in some anti-nuclear bunker (They have those already) wait out the fighting, when they say the radiations gone I will go home and have a look around.

He just said disaster, meaning alot of things, like some massive superstorm, or earthquakes around the world, maybe an asteroid took out Europe; It doesn't have to be nuclear missles.

I'm American and lovey, but that is irrelevant. I got four damn feet of snow this winter, and none of it melted before more fell. We were nearing the glacial point, then it melted.
