Let's compare an apple to an orange now.

Oranges have terrible graphics, but then Apples have that "stuffs" glitch.

apple is shinier, orange is too rough

This topic is now about apples vs. Oranges.

Apples you just wash off and eat, but with oranges you peel and peel and peel then peel some more. Apples ftw

Oh God, Shadowed, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!

Apples are moist and you bite them, oranges are way too wet but you can suck them hard.

I made a better comparison, even though the games really cannot be compared.

Blockland
+ Great multiplayer experience
+ Nice network API
+ Great add-on system
- Glitchy physics
- Mediocre lighting
- Ugly textures

Minecraft
+ Survival is awesome (SO MUCH TO EXPLORE :D)
+ Cool mods
+ Appropriate textures
+ Nice lighting engine (as of Beta 1.3)
- Terrible network API (a Blockland server hosted on a 5-year old home PC is faster than a MC server hosted on a real network server.

Well, I tried.

Huge, custom maps with much more space than Blockland maps.
Whoa, is the size of Minecraft maps infinity+1?

If I remember right, isn't the size of every map on blockland infinity plus one?

Aww man, quit deconstructing jokes.

At a point you'll fall through the ground if you go continuously in a direction in a map like Plate2, Plate3, Slate etc.

I play GMod, Roblox, Blockland and Minecraft.

Deal with it.

I play Blockland and Minecraft, rape me.

Sort of a biased question because this is the BLOCKLAND Forums, but what the heck. Go ahead, answer it. I do not relate the two because they are completely different other than the "build andything" philosophy.
Here's a list I made to help you make your mind up:
Minecraft
Pros: Better than infinite mining. AI is better. You don't have to fiddle with minigames. Huge, custom maps with much more space than Blockland maps.
Cons: 16 bit graphics. Laggy on most computers. Buggy. Slow multiplayer with seperate server launcher.
Blockland
Pros: Way better graphics. Better multiplayer. Virtually no bugs. More features. You don't have to enter IPs to enter a server.
Cons: No good survival minigame with all of the features of Minecraft. Can't get new texture packs.
