Only reputable people could abuse it, and the point is that they wouldn't.

A simple rating system like FP has wouldn't be too bad. A "reputation" system would be stupid and useless, but the rating system actually has a purpose; it summarizes people's general feel toward a specific post without the need to read every page of posts.

What I just remembered is this is why Badspot removed ranks by post count. Why would he introduce an even more biases system?
