Also posting from my 3DS, the web browser is very nice and fluid. I was able to get Excitebikes before the shop stopped working.

Actually it seems if you keep trying to get on it and then keep trying to download stuff, you'll eventually get in. I was able to finally get the pokedex, going to see if I can look at OoT's page now.

Yes, you've been able to do that since before the update.

I would imagine a mass of 3DS users accessing something as new as the eshop at once isn't good for it. Thus the generous helping of errors. I want to download a bunch of stuff I don't need, dammit. Also Excitebike.

The browser opens the page you were last on even if you power off, nice. Is Excitebike the only free thing?

Looks like that and the Pokedex thing are the only free things, everything else consists of $5 games that cost $10 or $1 games that cost $5.
