So, from a bunch of video's I've seen so far, Sony Vegas seems to be quite the nice editing program. I have looked it up, and it seems pretty pricey. However, the website makes what is the edit program seem like something else.

So, I was wondering if you DO have it:

What version/pack you have.
What YOU paid for it.
Recommended version/pack or whatever.
Who paid for it.

I am just wondering as I would love to it at my disposal, however I was wondering what was worth the money it can cost.

Sony vegas pro 10. Payed $150 for it through my school.

Well worth it if you can get it through a student license or something like that.

I got Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum. I'm very happy with it. Definitely gives some value for it's price.
It can do pretty much everything I needed back then (and now) for making gameplay videos and Youtube poops. Only problem I have with it is the missing masking function, but that's just minor.

Costed $94.95, and well worth it.

This, I highly doubt anyone here is so into movie making that they bought it.

I'm not promoting piracy i'm just saying that I doubt anyone here has the money to buy it.
