I'm a man of faith, and I can tell you now what your 'friend' is doing is wrong.
God loves us, but he gives us choice. We must respect that. And that your friend, although the bit I've read, is pretty much forcing you into religion. Your friend is telling you the bad things, which puts a bad eye for Christianity. If I were to tell a friend about God, I would give the best of love for it, not say
"You can either follow God or burn in hell for eternity." Your friend isn't speaking the right of what I think God would want them to speak. A Christian should be accepting and loving, not forcing religion upon those who dissagree. I for one have a lot of fallen friends who believe in all sorts of things, but they're friends, and I love them. And I accept who they are. I just wish God could show them the love.
 In other words, Your friend needs to learn how to love someone, and how to tell a nonbeliever how God is. Not Haten', but Lovin'.

unless you give your life to the church. yes thats right, not god, the church.
there are procedures that involve manmade rituals to tie a person to his religion, not anything actually spiritual.

Anyone who pushes a religion should be kicked in the testicles. What you believe is what you believe, not what others believe. Keep things to yourself. Jehovah Witnesses are total cigarettepots for being all CONVERT CONVERT.

Religion is something people shouldn't talk about in public since all it does is cause a huge "knowledge" war on whether it's better to be a Christian, Atheist, Mormon, Moron, Scientologist, Rasta or whatever the forget they do.

And on the flip side, they do all they can to prove the other ones wrong.
They should prove theirs is right first.

to me the only way to prove atheism is right is to prove the others are wrong. same as to prove your glass is empty you have to prove it isn't full, probably not the best brown townogy but it's the best i can think of on short notice.
