Author Topic: I need help about a computer virus. Please look. (Read 2325 times)

The computer virus makes it so that, I have open java I have no task bar or desktop Icons, I can't open S&D spy bot but I still can open avj and I scanned and it found 8 4 could not be cured, I Googled it but no hope. Please help if you know a way I could post. Also I want play Minecraft :(

RKILL: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/anti-virus/rkill

MalwareBytes: http://www.malwarebytes.org/

RKILL will kill the virus process, but it might not be allowed to open up because the fake virus will block it. If that happens, download the alternate versions, all found on the RKILL download site. Once RKILL has done it's job, Install MalwareBytes and update it, run a full scan and let it get rid of anything it finds.

Uhhhhh..... I'm no virus expert but you should

1. Take your computer to the Geek Squad or Radio Shack or someone who knows exactly what to do.

2. Get a subscription to Spyware Doctor and scan your computer about once every week and scan every file you download.

Thats the help I can offer.

Edit: Turn your computer OFF to prevent any further infection and/or file loss. Keep it off until you send it to the Fix it place your sending it to.

Edit No.2:You should backup important files onto an SD card or something too, Unless its infected, that will spread the virus.
