PROBLEM - workstation computers are not meant for gaming at all. What is your budget?

Before I could really suggest anything I need a definite budget. $1500 is a little steep so I need something that you know that you could get.

Even if today's games won't benefit from it, I'm pretty sure that new games will.

Give me a realistic price that you know you can have.

Pentium doesn't understand how computers work. "Tomorrows games" will not benefit from having an i7 because "tomorrows" games will probably be using more than 3 cores and the standard will be 6 cores. Processors are way ahead of graphics card as far as performance right now. If anything we need graphics cards to catch up.

Like I just said a few posts above, I can do $1300 to $1400 in total for building a new computer, a little less wouldn't hurt ether, but I don't want the quality to fall drastically

If you're upgrading to a high end GPU you'll need to upgrade that CPU to maybe a Core 2 Quad, which are cheap nowadays.
