It ships from Gamestop's warehouse.  Not the nearest store.

I think what you want to have done is the "in-store pickup" where you pay for it online, choose a store that has it in stock and pick it up from there.

Or just buy it on Steam because they'll deny you the game if you aren't 17+ or your parents won't let them let you have it.

As people are saying, the stores don't run individual shipping. That's just plain handicapped. It comes out of their warehouses somewhere. And it isn't like "Oh God, this guy ordered. GET TO THE TRUCKS, WE'RE HEADING THERE." It isn't like delivery pizza. It is a game.

It usually depends just on the distance between your house and their warehouse from where they're shipping from.  And the shipping method you chose.

In my experience generally UPS is on time with their packages, however whenever it goes across the country or anything then it usually takes a bit longer.
