No he said it was a bad idea because it makes it so people can get into your computer by allowing them to get to your ip or something like that.

Do you take middle school computer class?

Yea. Working on HTML right now :D I have to correct the teacher a few times :D

That's good for you. It is nearly impossible for anyone to gain wireless access to your computer via IP unless they have installed something such as TeamViewer or SniperSpy, on your computer. Opening the ports on your computer for a certain game simply allows users to access the server and its contents that you are hosting. Not your computer. The reason why port forwarding is needed for some things such as this game, is because it allows users to access your Blockland folder so that they can download the content that you enabled when you started your server. So you really have nothing to worry about.

I forwarded ports for 27010-27030, 28000 and 25565 TCP & UDP.
My IP is 68.113.70.29
My computer IP is 192.168.2.3
Let's see if someone can access my computer.

Your pastor has an IQ of 12. Port forwarding allows large data transfers to take place between a client and server. Most viruses are small (less than a megabyte) and thus don't require an open port to get into your computer.

Every port on TCP and UDP is open. If one of you manages to put "_YOUR NAME_ was here" on my main page I will give you $50.

Besides getting this information from an IP, people can DDoS attack your computer and slow it down. That's about it.

You could rent a server from Kalphiter.

No Edit

Once v20 comes out I will be able to host again. :D

How do you know? Maybe if you can host I can? If not I can give you the TDM freebuild save thing

Sure thing. I am able to host but only for about a few minutes until the server crashes. This is because the Macintosh version is currently unstable. Hopefully, v20 will contain the fixes to v19.
