Hey guys I found an exploit. Crouching and looking down the ironsights of the medic's MG3 (starting gun) instantly kills everything downrange. Seriously, I didn't think a starting weapon would be so absurdly powerful.
I played a couple rounds and I have to say the weapons are not as unbalanced as I had thought. I don't notice shop weapons being used as often as I was expecting and the few I did see weren't as stupidly OP as I feared. They were still direct upgrades from the starting weapons, but not by much. As far as crappy free-to-play games go, this one is one of the better ones. Still doesn't hold a candle to BF2/142, but I still think it's miles ahead of Bad Company 2, just by giving a loving commo rose (albeit a simple one) and health indicator and getting rid of health regen. You also have to get specific training to use jets and helicopter pilot seats, which I think is interesting to say the least. So far the few times I've hopped in a chopper, the pilot seemed to know what he was doing so as of now I'd say it's a plus.
Still, being stuck with a single class and not being able to change in the battle is pretty stuffty, and the fact that you have a choice of either spawning "at the battle" (whatever that means) or the uncap base is rather limiting. Squads aren't around anymore, so overall it feels more like 1942 than any of the others. Which isn't bad for a free game. I'm actually having fun. I doubt I would be playing it though if I could find my BF2 CD key. And CD.
