I asked you what you would need.
I wouldn't want to plan on helping you, to find out you need something I can't make.
Well, of course trees will be needed. :)

You should read the rules.  Wow private servers cannOt be discussed here.

I wasnt aware I was discussing one. I was discussing a non-WoW game I was planning on making.

Yes, it CannOt be discussed.

I would do an indie, but I suck graphically and dont know where to start
Then you're not a very good developer, are you?
there are people in the world with nothing better to do whod love the job
There are very, very few. Doing work for a game is time-consuming hard work. If they're not getting paid then why spend the time on it when they could be working at a legitimate job.
And then there are people like you, who just shoot us budding developers down so you never have competition :)
Yeah, no.
Footnote: Also, that guy with the portfolio who attracts devs started out like me. without that portfolio.
And then he made some content on his own to show other people his skillsets. Then it was called a "portfolio". This isn't rocket science.

Do we get any examples of what you've done previously? Or are you just trying to market yourself as the "helpful ideasguy"?

I have many unrelated things I have done. But much to everyones dissaproval, this is my first game I've made from scratch. (unless you count an old 2d mmorpg made on the eclipse engine)

If you think no-one will help, you can at least make a recommendation towards a good engine, or give a tip where to start, and I'll try to go indie.

Give us anything. If anyone is going to be willing to help, you first need to prove that you're competent.

Otherwise this whole situation is: "Guys, I've got an idea - I want you to make it, and I'll take most the credit ... and you don't get payed".

I'm assuming you want this to be 3D judging by the features list. I much prefer 2D development over 3D but that's mostly because it's easy to work with on your own and also generally easier to work with for what I like to do. I also can't stand "messy" 3D games.

Also the features list alone is aiming too high. Get a manageable goal and from there continue in small steps. Do not rush things at all.

Well, sucks to be me. The mmorpg was lost after an HD failure(not kidding).

I'm sure you'll get payed. Not in the up front though. Share of profits.

Instead of making an mmo right now, why don't you make a simple game first and then LEARN more.

This is my point.

Code your own, or write a mod for Source?

I'll wager $50 to anyone that this will never get anywhere.
