Author Topic: Games You Want Remade for 3DS  (Read 3175 times)

Oh god, they REALLY need to remake Majora's Mask.
And, Ike is right, F-ZERO would be just WIN, in a 3DS.

Maybe they could add a AR mat that turns a table into a racetrack ingame. That would be cool :O

No no no, I mean where you tilt the 3DS to the left and the thing goes left and ababgabgoaplsnintendo

forget, I'd want an F-Zero game on the DS period.

Oh sweet Jesus have mercy. That kind of driving is horrible on Burnout.

Maybe if it's sharper on F-Zero it could work.

A re-make of GTA:SA with GTA:IV's graphics, covering, friendship etc would be pretty badass, but exactly the same storyline and all that.

CJ's a monday :)
so basically you want nintendo to completely obliterate gta:sa

You want to put 2D games on the 3DS? And on top of that, games that haven't even been localized for the US?

Yes...  Yes I do...  They should be made 3D, though.

I would LOVE a Bad Fur Day remake.  However since Nintendo dropped Rare the only way we could get a portable remake is if Microsoft makes a portable system.

Perhaps not.  I've heard that Rare has taken an interest in the 3DS.  A 3DS remake of Banjo Kazooie was mentioned.

banjo and kazooie is probably the only reason i'd consider getting an xbox 360

Banjo looks ugly on Xbox.

I'm also hoping to see a new Metroid game out for the 3DS.

I heard a review of the last one, and it was terrible. Among the arguments are how they have simplified her character, loveualizing and basically lowering her overall IQ to make a storyline insulting to her overall. There is also stupid features like 'thinking' about getting more missiles to get them...

I don't know much about Metroid, but given what they've done recently, I think they need a lot more time before they even attempt another game.

Pokemon Snap :D
One of my favorite games as a kid and now you could get more into the game with the gyroscope feature thing on the 3DS now.

That game was difficult for me. On the 3DS, it might be even more so, especially with gyroscope. You'd swing around fast as hell to catch a quick shot and knock your sibling through a window.

They already showed them on the 3DS. Again, Virtual Console older games. Yes.

this

Pretty sure it's somewhere in there. At least, similar games are on the Virtual Console.

Ech, I hated Other M. I haven't even gotten past Sector 1 on that game. The older games were much better, like Super Metroid and Fusion. The Prime series was good, but I agree that they did terribly on Other M. The cut-scenes frustrated me, and it also frustrated me that there was no skip button. I hate the whole "thinking" system overall, Save Stations and Recharge Stations were far more convenient.

Thinking about it, I'm kind of wondering what Metroid Fusion would be like in 3D... I can only imagine what it would be like running from the SA-X o-o

/rerail: I think the Virtual Console support is awesome, I'm looking forward to some of the old games being put on the 3DS, like the Pokemon games.

http://www.g4tv.com/games/wii/61992/Metroid-Other-M/review/ I'd like you to hear how Morgan Webb put it, either way.

Also, most games currently will only work in 2D mode. They aren't making every new title 3D. In fact, I'm betting most still won't support it for the sake of development and such.

I'm hoping the Pokemon games make it on the Virtual Console, although I haven't checked. I've seen many times where the biggest games get put aside for fear of their ports being inferior and highly criticized.
