Your motherboard does not support Xeons, however it does support Core 2 Quad.

$240, pretty great.

I couldn't think of a reason why it wouldn't work. Unless you know that dell has a special block on it or something...

Their processors vary a little, its pretty stupid.

If I were you, I'd check if your mobo is atx or not, and if it is, just pick up a mobo/cpu combo.
