Ok this is how the gamemode will work.

You will start the gamemode choosing the player colors that players get to be for ex

Mr.green
Mr.red
Mr.blue

Then out of the players that are in the minigame it will select one random player to be the killer.
You will still be wearing the same clothes given to you judging by your name "Mr.green"

So it will send the killer Mr.Green a message informing him he is a killer.


[Weapons will be placed around the house.]

So the players are now set free given keys to enter there rooms and to lock there rooms [Pre-built house with gamemode.]

Now the killers task : The killers task is to find a weapon and slowly kill the players without being caught. If the killer kills a player when another player is nearby they are able to click the phone enter the killers id and have the minigame end.

Household members task : Your job is too roleplay and look for anything suspicious that might give the killer away.


Things household members cant do :

-Attack other players. [Prompt will show up saying "You are not the killer stop trying to kill people!"
-Attack the killer unless attacked by him.

Things the killer cant do [Reccomended]

-Take out a knife at the spawn and kill everyone  [Ruins the fun]
-Reveal that he is the killer.

Things this minigame also does.
-Seconds before the game starts it changes players name to their room color
ex James123 now becomes Mr.Green. James123's clothes also now become all green besides shoes which are black by default. And skin color is your skin.

When a player dies his name is shown along with the time of death but it will not reveal who had killed him.[ It shows weapon he died by time of death ]

[If possible i want it so the players dead bodys dont dissapear so you can click them and find the time of death.]

Also the dead can not talk.

If the murderer disconects the minigame will end all players names will be reset to their originals and there will be a 30 seconds break then a new killer will be selected.

Then ill remove the chat block !

I would also like to add an idea.

While everyone is exploring the house the killer should at least be able to pick them off one by one. Whoever the killer kills it will not show their name on screen but it will show the death of the name they killed. They should also be limited to being able to kill by at least a two minute delay.

This was actually in my idea of thought i guess i didnt add that part thanks adding now :)

Also people are just going to stand in the spawn room all day.

There should be "clue bricks" which activated will give off tiny clues as to who the killer is. By what they are wearing, what they look like or tiny parts of their name. This should give people a reason to explore rather than stay in the spawn room.

You don't have to include it but it should get people to actually move around.

i dont think anyones going to stand there when there is a huge mansion around them..

If you have Garrysmod, you should look at Trouble in Terrorist Town.  It's exactly like you said, except instead of one killer, it's a group.  When people die they can't talk, and there is no kill info ( Player1 < Player2).

The murderer would have to come after you sooner or later.  Maybe if each room had 2 entrances/exits?

What if you clearly see the killer infront of you and hes shooting/chopping at you and he misses, and you cant defend yourself?
