Most of the time, he won't announce the slots. Why would he? It'd just make the 50 people who missed one slot mad. Keep checking back.

There seems to be a problem when i open RTB overlay it crashes blockland sometimes. I have no idea why it does this but i was wondering if anyone else was having this problem.
RTB4 is a pretty nice version other then that. I like that its an overlay now instead of having to use a mod for the mod manager... which is redundant as well as annoying

I was wondering where i could give the beta spot i got back if this isn't fixed.

I think there is some incompatibility between RTB v4 and the variable conditional event add-on. Try removing the client for that then see if the problem still exists.

He opens individual slots for people he kicks out for various reasons, like not being on. Besides that, you might not like RTB 4 right now. You can't contact anyone on RTB 3 through it, so it becomes a hassle to dispute unfair admin treatment. That among other things, of course.

I think Ephi should re-include the old IRC system in RTB 4 beta, otherwise people will be turned off.

You're a year or two late to even try to make that suggestion. He build a whole chat system already. Anyway, why would you want IRC? This is better than IRC. That's like saying "I know you built me a master bathroom, but can you make an alcove and jam my old port-a-potty in it?"

I won't be re-including the IRC. Eventually RTB Connect will be able to do private messaging from public rooms and then IRC will be entirely redundant.

Except you can't join it externally like IRC, since you need BL information. Just saying.

At some point in the very far future I may document the protocol and add a new authentication method to login by password, so someone could potentially write an external client or even just a pidgin plugin or something like that.

I'm sure someone will create an add-on to re-add IRC anyway so I wouldn't worry about not getting IRC ever again, it just won't be provided by RTB.
