Show of your colorized black and white photos
It started all when I saw the website Titanic-in-Color, and it gave me the idea to colorize also black and white photos. It may take much time, but if you learn it, you don't even look how much time you spend on it.

 I love old retro movies!

Here is another picture I colorized yesterday. It's the Rotterdam IV, which was a proud ocean liner of The Netherlands.


And the Queen Mary from Long Beach in 1936, on her maiden voyage.

Pretty, good, but the first 3 pictures just... look fake, almost too bright for the picture.




Not done by any means of the imagination, all done by hand in Photoshop.

Just like do some transparency map of the image over itself and make a layer under it, then color.

Just one of many methods, although mine is probably a very bad one.

Yep, I used blending or it'll overwrite the black/white information.

What, what? I have Photoshop CS3, be specific. :panda: There's a few different "blend" stuff.

Entire OP fails, but the last two are pretty neat.
