Just because you're a Christian doesn't mean you have to go to church.
Says on the contract you do.

May I just say, religious people love to shove their beliefs arrogantly in the face of atheists and vice versa. There is no one group that you can target for doing that, because both do.
I used to be that kind of atheist but then I took a step back and realized that doing that is just as bad.

True, but IMO, it was just a bit...  I dunno'...  Cheezy?
I don't really think it was cheesy.

I don't like how you always use definitives.
Contrasts with me heavily. I usually try to make sure that I leave room for the possibility that I could be wrong, while you lay it down directly.
Alright, my point is that you seem to imply all religious folk and all nonreligious folk shove their beliefs in each-others faces.
That's not true.

Yes but you are just one person, you don't represent the global atheist community. You might not be pig headed yourself, but there sure as hell are people like that or we wouldn't be having this conversation in the first place. :I

That doesn't mean they are all like that, even if there's just one person who isn't.
There may be people like that but by no means are they all like that.
Alright I'm not going to push that point any further so as to prevent some sort of argument stemming out of mere aggression.

Was her name, by any chance, Stephanie?

Holy stuff I can't ignore you any more, you're more dense than lead.
Icy is saying that an atheist can't complain about some christians pushing their beliefs because there are atheists that do that very same thing. Nowhere in his post did he say ALL atheists do this or ALL christians do that.

Thanks, I'm more dense than lead now.
(Actually, not really. Lead is denser than Titanium.) (That was a joke, sorry, I had to.)
You're the most argumentative and aggressive person here. I'm sorry, but that's what I see.
Why do you bother me, what does it gain you?
Anyway, here:
May I just say, religious people love to shove their beliefs arrogantly in the face of atheists and vice versa. There is no one group that you can target for doing that, because both do.
He says that religious people love to shove their beliefs arrogantly in the face of atheists and vice versa. Technically, that implies all of them, or at least that's what it seems to me.
That wasn't really the point.
My point was really a sort of commentary on his very assured demeanor in his statements, and how it contrasts with my indecision and noncommittal approach to explanation, something that goes beyond just this thread.

I grinned, said "Close, but no cigar!"
