These are results for the Acid3 test, that measure compliance with W3 standards.
This is one of those graphs that have overly large bars for extremely small differences. There's hardly a difference between any of the tested browsers.

Acid3 tests are ridiculous in my opinion.  people constantly whine about them in browser fights, but it means almost nothing.

You lose, the full thing came out a while ago.

I guess your right, I was just mostly focusing on the fact that Chrome, Opera and Safari aced it.

Then you don't appreciate standards. This basically measures a browser's ability to display web pages correctly, something that is very important for users so they don't see messed up web pages, and for developers so they don't have to re-write some parts of the page for every browser.

That image is both stupid and dumb.
I would say it's actually pretty accurate stereotypes.

Norton is okay at preventing you from getting viruses.
However if you end up getting one, you're forgeted.

If you ask me, "NERDS" should go on Chrome, because nerds would know it's faster.
"HIPSTERS" should be on Safari, because it's primarily an OSX program.
"HUGE QUEERS" should be removed and FireFox given a new one.

Hipsters would have worked for Safari before Chrome came out.

No it fits pretty well. I've seen many non-nerd IE users switch to Chrome, probably because google advertised it so much on their homepage. And I've also seen a few people who got chrome when it first came out and they were all like "HURRR I USE CROME NOW HURRRRR AM I COOL ADN DIFFERENT YET?".

And then Nerds were probably more likely to keep using Firefox when Chrome came out, because they thought "Chrome" would be too simple for them.

Time.
The only way half a second would be a lot of time is:
in sprints
car acceleration
gun draw/reload contests
.etc
Time i
no i was asking what it was relative to

People hate IE because its like a half second slower than chrome/FF. They need their research to load faster
my old internet explorer 7 opens about five times faster at start up than the latest version of firefox, and about the same time as the latest chrome, lol
