What?

Cello
Violin

Author Topic: Would it be a good idea to learn to play cello?  (Read 1196 times)

I really want to play a string instrument, one that isn't a guitar.
So what I'm seriously considering are:
Violin
Cello

And that's all I can think of right now.
Would it be worth it to learn to play either of these?
Or maybe a different one, if you want to suggest one.

Out of those two I'd choose the Cello.

Cello loving rocks. I played it a fair bit before I started college.

I'll start a poll for them.

I had him in mind when I made the topic.

A violin advantage would be its higher portability.

Anyone who doesn't post here has to give me a lewinsky.

Violin is harder, yet sounds better :)

Play the Lute or Lyre you forgeter.

Play the loving bass like me.
It will increase you're manlyness by a trillion fold. Just don't learn any of that classic stuff, that stuff is stuff.
Learn to play rock n roll
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

While they both have their qualities, I prefer cello over violin.

Cello makes your balls instantly bigger.

So go with that.

Violin is more diverse I would suppose, as I have only really heard cello's in classical music. Violin is the closest instrument to the human voice.
