Generic city vehicles

And you suggest more crap realistic cars.

If somebody makes these vehicles in a bricky-looking form, I would probably use them instead, as long as there are enough of them to replace all of the "crap realistic" vehicles.



I know many people are against this but I for one would enjoy a large set of uniform-quality, generic, similar-yet-diverse city vehicles.


In particular, ones that don't currently exist (in very good quality) such as an ambulance, police vehicles, things like buses, garbage truck, limo, ice cream truck, etc.

Better example of the kind of things I'm actually hoping for


As you may or may not know, I'm making a city build with a custom terrain map, which I will use primarily for videos. You may have noticed the map casually hanging out in the background of my small commercial jet suggestion, or seen me rant about my ambitions if you join my server. The city will be pretty darn big because I want a very flexible environment to work with. Part of that flexibility is having a very diverse set of city vehicles.


Here are some good examples of what I'm looking for:



The blockstang is kind of not.. very... good. It looks kind of strange and handles even stranger, rocking back and forth all over the place.

Now, besides this are things like the four-pack thing of motorcycles what's-his-face did and a couple things like the roadster and oldtimer.

The level of variety in vehicles to satisfy my vehicular diversity special interest would be something along the lines of this.

But of course that would be a ton of work. But so will be the city. If you actually did that I would advertise your greatness every time I ever use them. Any video using them will have your name fly across the screen every twelve seconds, followed by a string of thank yous. I will go into minecraft and build a hundred-meter statue dedicated to you built with the diamonds I gathered without cheating. On hard mode.

No I won't. But you will be great person and further encourage big-project-size videos from me. Maybe even ones with plots. That's reward enough.. right?....




Anyway I just want to make it clear that well-made generic vehicles arouse me make me ecstatic quite happy.

Frankly I prefer the "blocko" vehicles, which do not appear to be made of bricks. Plus, just the one is not nearly enough. DON'T BE SILLY

We already have stuffloads of vehicles that don't look like they are made out bricks. You are just picky.

It's not that I'm picky, it's that I want more of them. Impractical for running a server perhaps, but good for making movie-like objects. And, I would probably start using bricky vehicles if there were enough of them.

But honestly I think we have way more than enough normal non brick generic city vehicles. There is at least over 20 different versions. I'm sure you can find some of those to work with.
Although I would love to see more vehicles but at some point you got to say we have enough. I could easily work with the 7/8 of those vehicles in your picture.

Well, at the very least I would like to see certain city vehicles I haven't found anywhere, like an ambulance, a (better) police car, possibly things like buses, garbage truck, (better) limo, ice cream truck, etc., rather than just more cars.

i totally agree, everytime i suggested a police car or a taxi they says

"pfft, paint it blue or yellow"

painting cars doesnt make then taxi or cops, seriously...

I made a bus and a junk car truck thingy once, but nobody halped me with it.

I did all I could, but I can't make the passengers stand still. And it looks quite wierd if they stick out of the bus.
