Well, I've been finding myself more and more bored of videogames over the past year or so, and I've finally done something I've been wanting to do. I cancelled all of my game subscriptions, and I removed my credit card number from Steam. I'm now working on trying to sell my desktop computer (worth roughly 2.5k) so I can buy a new Macbook. My reasoning? I have no need for a steroid-infested desktop computer, the most hardcore gaming I'll be doing is CS:S, and that's rarely. I generally play Minecraft or flash games. In terms of saving money, it'll be awesome, I'll be saving like $60 a month on recurring fees, which include my ventrilo server, my wow account, my starwars galaxies account and my private server.
I'm fairly proud of myself, because now I dedicate all of my time towards schoolwork, design, work,friends and etc.
Anybody else find themselves doing this? Perhaps I'm just growing up... I do intend to keep playing my xbox and soon my new PS3.
