Bottom tier? I'd be getting the top of the line MBP 13". The main reason that I'm going to be investing is because I'm moving away in about 6 months, so I'm not going to take my desktop computer with me, considering I have a 25" monitor, and a full tower. It's loving massive.

What the hell did you buy? My desktop was $849 without a discount and I know you could potentially build an even better one for less money.
